Mi se intampla deseori sa nu mai gasesc parolele de logare in wp admin. Asa e cand ai zeci de site-uri si esti mai dezordonat. De multe ori cand incerc sa ma autentific pe unul din site-uri, ma trezesc blocat de catre Wordfence.
Wordfence este un modul pentru WordPress care ajuta la securitate. Blocheaza atacurile de tip brute force, te notifica atunci cand se modifica fisiere sau cand este nevoie de un upgrade.
Printre altele, are si setari legate de autentificare. Eu l-am setat sa blocheze pe oricine greseste parola sau foloseste un username care nu exista. Si asa am picat si eu in propria capcana :))
Chiar la acest site, s-a intamplat sa nu mai gasesc parola si in urma acestei intamplari s-a nascut si ideea acestui articol.
In cele ce urmeaza va voi arata cum sa schimbati parola unui utilizator WordPress din Cpanel. Pentru a reusi acest lucru, este nevoie, evident, sa cunoasteti parola si userul de la Cpanel. Dar acestea sunt mai greu de pierdut, pentru ca de regula raman pe email, daca nu cumva le stergeti.
La aceasta solutie veti ajunge atunci cand nu mai stiti parola unui utilizator wp si nici acces la emailul cu care s-a creat contul nu aveti. Daca aveti acces la acel email, puteti scapa mai usor prin resetarea parolei.
Daca nu reusiti puteti oricand sa incercati solutia destul de simpla, de schimbare a parolei unui userp wp din Cpanel–>PhpMyAdmin.
1. Intrati pe Cpanel apoi in PhpMyAdmin de unde selectati baza de date conectata la site-ul respectiv.
2. Deschideti tahelul “wp_users” si apasati “EDIT” in dreptul userului caruia doriti sa ii resetati parola.
3. La randul user_pass, alegeti MD5 si introduceti parola in dreapta.
Stergeti orice ar fi acolo si introduceti parola asa cum ati vrea sa fie ea. Se va transforma in md5, ulterior. Nu uitati sa apasati si pe butonul de mai jos “Go”.
Acestia sunt cei 3 pasi pe care trebuie sa ii faceti pentru a schimba parola unui utilizator wordpress, din cpanel->phpmyadmin.
